This (sporadically appearing) podcast - check that: TODDcast - is basically what I've been doing for the past 30+ years: Talkin to Todd.
Who the heck is "Todd"? Todd Prins is my best friend who moved from Iowa to Utah - putting him smack in the middle of where his vote is outnumbered 1,000 to 1. It gives him an even more interesting perspective on things than he had when he lived back here. Not exactly liberal, not libertarian, and certainly not conservative, but always an opinion.
Anyway, Talkin to Todd is simply about educated conversation. We pick a topic, get a guest (sometimes), do an interview (or not), ask the questions we've always wanted to (sometimes just to each other), hopefully get some answers, have some fun while doing it.
Dennis Miller, but not so highbrow; More like Tony Kornheiser when he was on the radio... and REALLY good.
My wife will ask me what I'm doing and the answer will be, Talkin to Todd. "What'd ya talk about?" Mostly, whatever comes up. Politics, government, sports, current events. Kind of like Oprah and Gail... but from a man's perspective.
